Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that the Mathematics Papers I and II of the High School Examination, 2006 of the petitioner were got re-checked. In Mathematics Paper II there has been no change. However, in Mathematics Paper I there is increase of 7 marks and as such instead of 3 marks awarded earlier, the petitioner has now been awarded 10 marks. Consequently, in the two Mathematics papers she has now been awarded 29 marks, instead of 22. It has further been submitted that after being awarded grace marks as provided under the relevant rules, the petitioner would now be declared pass.
Accordingly, it is directed that the corrected mark-sheet of the petitioner declaring her pass in the High School Examination, 2006 be given to her within three weeks from today through the college from where she had appeared in the High School Examination.
This writ petition stands allowed to the extent indicated above. No order as to cost.
