Heard Sri Sanjay Kumar, learned counsel for the accused applicants, learned A.G.A. and perused the record.
Accused Iqbal and Aftab sons of Chhote have prayed for release on bail in Case Crime No. 626 of 2005 under Section 3/5-A/8 Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 10/11 Animal Cruelty Act, P.S. Adampur, District J.P.Nagar.
Prosecution case is that accused was sitting in the Jugar on which the cattle were being taken. Accused had managed to escape at that time. He has further contended that co accused Nafees has been directed to be released on bail by this Court.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, but without commenting on the merits of the case, accused is entitled to bail.
Let the accused named above be released on bail on their furnishing a personal bond and two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned. They shall give an under taking that they will not indulge in any criminal and antisocial activity and shall not threaten the complainant/witnesses. If any report is found against them, it shall be open for the Court below to report to this Court so that their bail may be cancelled.
