Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for Respondent no.1; Sri Neeraj Tripathi for Respondent no.2 and Smt.  Sunita Agrawal for Respondent nos. 3 and 4. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties this writ petition is being disposed of at this stage without calling for a counter affidavit.

The grievances of the petitioners is that inspite of the University having submitted a report dated 4.10.2005 to the  Chancellor, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur in favour of the petitioners for according affiliation of B.Ed. Course to the petitioners under section 37(2) of the U.P. State Universities Act,1973, till date no final decision has been taken, resulting in the petitioner institution not being granted affiliation despite they having fulfilled all the requisite terms  and conditions.

In view of the aforesaid facts and with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties this writ petition is finally disposed of with the hope that the Chancellor, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur shall take a final decision with regard to the grant of affiliation of B.Ed. Course to the petitioner-institution after taking into consideration the report of the University dated 4.10.2005 by means of a reasoned order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. Whatever decision is taken on the same, it shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to cost.
