It is the case of the petitioner that he applied for grant of an arm license on 17.1.2005. It has been submitted that although more than a year has passed but the respondents have not passed any order on his application despite the petitioner having filed several representations in this regard before the respondent-authorities.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and with their consent and considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with the direction that in case if, with regard to his grievances made in this writ petition, the petitioner files a fresh comprehensive representation before the District Magistrate/Licencing Authority, Azamgarh, Respondent no.2 along with a certified copy of this order, the same shall be considered and decided by him alongwith application dated 17.1.2005 for grant of arms licence, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
With the aforesaid observation/direction this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to cost.
