We have heard counsel for the petitioner, the Standing Counsel and Sri P.K. Bisaria for the respondents.
The petitioner is permitted to delete prayer no.2 of the writ petition.
The petitioner has a godown which was ensured with respondent no.2.
In the said godown of the petitioner theft was committed for which the petitioner raised a claim on 13.10.2005 before the respondent no.2 and as it has not been decided, the present writ petition has been filed.
In the circumstances of the case, the petitioner's claim dated 13.10.2005 made before respondent no. 2 may be decided by the said respondent by a reasoned order at an early date, if possible, within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petitioner will file copy of his claim, necessary documents and a duly stamped self addressed envelope along with the certified copy of this order. The concerned authority after taking decision will communicate the same to the petitioner.
With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.
