In pursuance of orders dated 31.1.2006, Shri P.S. Baghel has entered appearance and filed affidavit of Shri J.B. Sinha, Secretary, U.P. Public Service Commission, Allahabad stating that the Commission has received requisition from the State Government for selection of Medical Officers (Male), Medical Offices (Female) and Specialists. In response to advertisement No. 4/2005-06 for all these 1911 vacancies, the Commission received 6717 application forms. The interview was held for Radiologist (Male) on 9.2.2006 and scheduled for Anaesthetists (Female) on 21 & 22.2.2006 and for rest of the categories, the interview dates are likely to be fixed on priority. It is reported that utmost three Interview Boards can be constituted and if 15 candidates are allotted to each Interview Board for every working day, it would require at least 133 days to complete the process of the selection.
Let Shri P.S. Baghel seek instruction from the Commission about the possibility of increasing the number of Boards and for sending recommendations in lots without affecting the inter-se rights of the candidates. Put up on Monday as unlisted. A copy of the order be given to Shri P.S. Baghel today.
