      Heard learned counsel for the parties.

      In view of the judgment and order of today's date passed in Writ Petition No. 29546 of 2003, Ved Prakash Garg & others Versus Additional District Judge & others, this writ petition deserves to be allowed.

       Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed. The order dated 31.5.2003 is quashed. The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider and decide the applications for renewal of the mining lease of the petitioners, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the said respondent no. 3.

       No costs.
