The petitioners have been given provisional assessment bill by the Electricity Department. They have filed objection on 9.11.2005 against the same before the respondent no.3. As no order has been passed thereon, present writ petition has been filed.
We have heard counsel for the petitioners, and the Standing Counsel for the respondents.
In the circumstances of the case, the petitioners' objection/representation dated 9.11.2005 made before respondent no. 3 may be decided by the said respondent by a reasoned order at an early date, if possible, within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petitioners will file copy of his said objection/representation, necessary documents and a duly stamped self addressed envelope along with the certified copy of this order. The concerned authority after taking decision will communicate the same to the petitioners.
With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.
