Two petitioners have two vehicles, which are covered by two separate permits. Both the petitioners want to renew their vehicles from vehicles of a higher model. For this purpose, they have made an applications to the respondent no. 2, which are said to be pending .
In view of these averments of the petitioners, the respondent no. 2 is directed to consider and dispose of these pending applications in terms of Section 83 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 within six weeks of the date of which certified copy of this order is presented before the respondent no. 2 along with full details of the pending applications so that the same may be traced out for the purpose of disposal. The order passed on these pending applications will contain reasons.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
