Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner, who is working as Head Constable in U.P. Police Subordinate Services seeks promotion on the post of Sub-Inspector as well as inclusion of his name in the list of candidates, who are to be considered for such promotion.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file a representation, ventilating all his grievances, before respondent no.2, within three weeks along with a certified copy of this order. On such a representation being made the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned speaking order, preferably within five weeks from the date the representation is made.
