Petitioners who are son and wife of deceased government employee namely Shankar Prasad Gupta seek compassionate appointment as well as payment of monetary benefits which according to them have become due subsequent to the death of deceased employee dated 2.9.2004. In that regard petitioners have already made representation dated 18.10.2004 (Annexure 14 and 15 to the writ petition) which have gone unattended. Hence the present writ petition.
Without entering into the merits of the claim set up by the petitioners writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioners by means of a reasoned speaking order strictly in accordance with law preferably within six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
