Sheo Poojan And Others v. Union Of India And Others - WRIT - A No. 387 of 2006 RD-AH 470 (6 January 2006)
HON. ARUN TANDON, J.
Heard Sri Gulab Chandra Advocate on behalf of the petitioners and Sri Tej Prakash, learned Standing Counsel on
behalf of the respondents.
In respect of grievance raised in the present writ petition it is alleged that the petitioners have already approached the respondent no. 3 namely Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Lucknow by way of representation/revision dated 3rd December, 2005, which has not been considered till date. Hence the present writ petition.
Although hardly any time has expired from the date the representation was made, the Court is of the opinion that it would be in the interest of justice to request the respondent no. 3 to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioners, strictly in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned speaking order, preferably within six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before the respondent no. 3.
With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition is disposed of finally.
