This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that petitioner was the highest bidder in the auction and purchased a Tractor which was sold under the proceedings of the Statute. However, the auction has been cancelled and the petitioner has moved various representations for refund of the amount deposited by him.
Learned Standing Counsel has assured the Court that the amount of the petitioner shall be refunded expeditiously, unless there is some legal impediment.
In view of the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel, we dispose of this writ petition requesting the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to ensure the refund of the amount deposited by the petitioner for purchase of Tractor in case the bid given by him is not acceptable to them expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing a certified copy of the order is filed before them.
