Smt. Chandrakanta Bansal v. Anurag Goel And Another - WRIT - C No. 13189 of 2006 RD-AH 5153 (3 March 2006)
Civil Misc. W.P. No. 13189 of 2006
Hon'ble Sushil Harkauli, J.
Hon'ble Vikram Nath, J.
It is alleged that the petitioner is the landlady, who has instituted S.C.C. Suit No. 6 of 2002 for arrears of rent and ejectment against the respondent No. 1. The evidence of the parties is over and the Suit is pending at the stage of arguments for the last more than 6 months.
In view of these averments, it would appear that the hearing of the oral arguments and the delivery of judgment should not require much time. It is also obvious that in such matters, the tenant is normally interested in delaying the disposal of the Suit. We, therefore, direct the trial Court to proceed with the disposal of the Suit, unless there is some legal impediment, as expeditiously as possible, and to dispose it of preferably within three months of the date on which certified copy of this order is presented before the trial Court.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
