Rajiv Sharma v. Union Of India And Others - WRIT - A No. 14040 of 2006 RD-AH 5611 (8 March 2006)
HON. ARUN TANDON, J.
It is alleged that the petitioner was one of the applicants in respect of selections held for the post of Head Constable in Central Reserve Police Force pursuant to the Advertisement published in the year 2003. Petitioner submits that he was successful in all the examination held for the purpose. However before the results could be declared the selection itself was cancelled in its entirety.
The respondents have now published another advertisement in the year 2005 for making appointments on the same post on Constables. Petitioner on the basis of his earlier application claims a right to be considered in pursuance to the subsequent advertisement also. In that regard petitioner has already made a representation dated 23.01.2006 which is pending consideration before respondent no. 3.
Without entering into the merits of the claim set up by the petitioner this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned speaking order, within four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
