A provisional bill was issued to the petitioner requiring him to deposit an amount of Rs. 2,63,708/-. Against the said bill, the petitioner has filed a detailed representation dated 26th October, 2005 before the Executive Engineer, Varanasi, IV.
We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the representation filed by him may be decided expeditiously. We, therefore, in the facts and circumstances of the case, direct that the representation dated 26th October, 2005 filed by the petitioner before the Executive Engineer, Varanasi-IV may be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks, from the date a certified copy of the order is produced by the petitioner before the said Executive Engineer.
Subject to the observations made above, the writ petition is disposed of.
