Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A. for the State.
This petition is filed for quashing of the F.I.R. registered against the petitioner at Case Crime No. 5 of 2002, under Section 420, 467, 468 and 471 I.P.C., Police Station Hajratganj, Lucknow.
From the perusal of the F.I.R. and on the basis of the allegations made therein, prima-facie cognizable offence is made out, therefore, prayer for quashing the F.I.R. is refused.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, it is directed that in case the petitioner appears before the court below within ten days from today and applies for bail in the above case, the same shall be heard and disposed of by the court below expeditiously in accordance with law.
