HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF ALLAHABAD

Civil Misc. W.P. (Tax) No.  614 of 2006

Hon'ble Sushil Harkauli, J.

Hon'ble Vikram Nath, J.

We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Govind Krishna, for the Income Tax Department.

The impugned order under section 263 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, is appealable under the Act. Because of the alternative statutory remedy available to the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition, which is accordingly dismissed.
