The petitioner contends that she had obtained higher marks than respondent No.6 and therefore, was entitled to be sent to an institution of her choice. On the other hand the respondent No.6 has been sent to the institution where in fact she should have been sent to the institution where in fact she should have been sent. The learned counsel for the Selection Board admits that there appears to be some confusion made by the Selection Board.
Accordingly, I dispose of of this writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to made a fresh representation before the Selection Board which shall be considered and decided by the Selection Board after hearing all the affected parties within four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the representation.
