Mujeebrrehman v. Nagar Palika Parishad Etgawah And Others - WRIT - C No. 18631 of 2006 RD-AH 7551 (10 April 2006)
Hon'ble Yatindra Singh,J.
This is a writ petition for a direction to the respondents to grant licence to the petitioner to run slaughter house. According to the petitioner he has already given a representation dated 1.10.2005 to the respondent no.2 in this regard. As it has not been decided, he has filed the present writ petition.
We have heard counsel for the petitioner and the Standing Counsel for the respondents.
In the circumstances of the case, it would be appropriate that the petitioner's representation dated 1.10.2005 may be decided by the concerned respondent by a reasoned order at an early date, if possible, within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petitioner along with certified copy of this order will also file a copy of his aforesaid representation, other necessary documents and a duly stamped self addressed envelope. The concerned authority after taking decision will communicate the same to the petitioner. The respondent no.2 while passing any order on the petitioner's representation may also require him to obtain no objection from the U.P. Pollution Control Board.
With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.
