This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that the petitioner is being dispossessed from her land without resorting to any procedure prescribed in law and against the will of the petitioner for establishing a park.
The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has submitted that if the petitioner has any grievance and moves a representation before the respondent no.2, the District Magistrate, Rampur, her grievance shall be examined and appropriate orders shall be passed and the petitioner shall not be dispossessed without following the procedure prescribed by law.
In view of the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel, we dispose of this petition requesting the learned District Magistrate, Rampur that in case the petitioner submits a representation within a period of one week from today ventilating all her grievances, he may examine her case and pass appropriate order by ensuring that no person should be permitted to encroach upon her land without her consent or without making payment of compensation or without resorting to the procedure prescribed in law. The order may be passed within a period of three weeks.
For a period of three weeks, status quo as on today shall be maintained regarding the possession.
