This writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 19/7/2005 passed by the Additional District Magistrate, Agra (Finance & Revenue) by which the license of the petitioner granted to him for sale of stamp paper has been suspended. It has been stated in the writ petition that the inquiry has not been completed till date in spite of the fact that more than nine months have already lapsed.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has stated that the inquiry against the petitioner shall be completed expeditiously.
In view of the aforesaid statement, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction that the pending inquiry against the petitioner in respect of the suspension of the license for sale of stamp paper shall be completed expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing the certified copy of the order before the respondent no.3.
