Heard Sri S. Niranjan, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. and perused the record.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the allegation against the petitioners is that they had manipulated in the voter list and contested the election of Municipal Corporation.
His further contention is that there is no such evidence to show the complicity of the petitioners.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct that the investigation in Case Crime No. C-213 of 2006 under Sections 193, 196, 199, 167, 420, 467, 468, 120-B IPC, P.S. Milak, District Rampur shall go on and the same shall be concluded within a period of three months from the date of presentation of the certified copy of this order but the arrest of the petitioners shall not be effected till then, provided the petitioners cooperate with the investigation.
The writ petition stands disposed accordingly.
