This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that the petitioner had a license as a Press Correspondent and though he had filed an application for renewal but no orders have been passed.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, we dispose of this petition requesting the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the application for renewal of the license expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing a certified copy of the order before them.
