This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that the petitioners are being dispossessed from the land without resorting to any procedure prescribed by law and against the will of the petitioners for constructing the Road.
The learned Standing Counsel has submitted that if the petitioners have any grievance and they move a representation before the District Magistrate, Siddharth Nagar, their grievance shall be examined and appropriate orders shall be passed and the petitioners shall not be dispossessed without following the procedure prescribed by law.
In view of the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel, we dispose of this petition requesting the learned District Magistrate, Siddharth Nagar, that in case the petitioners submit a representation within a period of one week from today ventilating all their grievances, he may examine their case and pass an appropriate order by ensuring that no person should be permitted to encroach upon their land without their consent or without making payment of compensation or without resorting to the procedure prescribed by law. The order may be passed within a period of two weeks.
For a period of three weeks, status quo as on today shall be maintained regarding the possession.
