This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that the petitioner belongs Aheriya which is a sub caste of Bahelia which comes under Scheduled Caste. He has applied for issuance of a caste certificate before the respondent no.3, which has not yet been granted.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has submitted that the application filed by the petitioner shall be examined strictly in accordance with law and appropriate order shall be passed by respondent nos. 2 and 3 expeditiously.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of this writ petition requesting the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to examine the grievance of the petitioner and may issue the caste certificate in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of filing a certified copy of this order before them.
It is made clear that we have not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and it is for the respondents to decide the same.
