Supplementary affidavit filed today be taken on record.
There is serious allegation of non distribution of food grains by the petitioner among the card holders of below poverty line. No convincing point has been raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner to warrant interference in the F.I.R. Therefore, we are not inclined to interfere with the same. The writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed.
The writ petition is hereby dismissed. However, in the event the petitioner puts in appearance or is produced before the Court below and makes an application for bail in Case Crime No. 653 of 2006 under Section 3/7 of E.c. Act, P.S. Chandpur, District Bijnore, his bail application shall be disposed of by the Court below, as expeditiously as may be convenient in accordance with law.
