Smt. Shashi Kala Mishra v. Indian Oil Corporation Limited And Others - WRIT - C No. 6154 of 2006 RD-AH 8459 (26 April 2006)
WP No. 6154 of 2006
Hon'ble Yatindra Singh, J
Hon'ble RK Rastogi, J
1. The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) had advertised for appointment of operator in Kisan Sewa Kendra and the petitioner was one of the applicants and interview was held on 26.10.2005 but the result of this interview was not declared and candidates were called for second interview on 10.1.2006. The petitioner appeared in this second interview under protest, but its result has also not been declared, though she has been unofficially informed that respondent no. 3 has been selected for the post, hence the present writ petition.
2. We have hard counsel for the petitioner, and Sri Tarun Verma for the respondents. The counsel for the respondent made a statement before this court that in the second interview held on 10.1.2006 respondent no. 3 has already been selected. The petitioner participated in this interview. In view of this, we see no justification to set aside the second interview. The writ petition is dismissed. However, in case, the petitioner thinks that selection of respondent no. 3 is illegal on any other account then he is at liberty to seek suitable legal remedy. With these observations the writ petition is dismissed.
