This is an application for bail moved on behalf of the applicant Satendra Singh alias Pintu involved in case Crime No.  266 of 2005 under section 3(1) U.P. Gangster  and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act, Police station Pawai, district  Azamgarh.

Heard Sri Om Prakash Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and the learned AGA and have perused the record.

The gang chart indicates pendency of ten cases against the applicant. In paragraph 6 of the affidavit filed in support of the bail application it has been stated that in case Crime No. 55 of 1995 under sections 392, 411 I.P.C. and in  case Crime No.  99 of 1995 under section 392, 411 I.P.C. final reports have been accepted whereas in case Crime No. 109 of 1995 under sections 393, 302, I.P.C. the applicant  has been acquitted. Rest of the cases are pending  in which the applicant  is on bail. The offence under section 3(1) of the  Gangsters and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act is not a substantive offence. The applicant  being on bail in the cases shown in the  gang chart, I  consider it to be a fit case for grant of bail.

Let the applicant Satendra Singh alias Pintu involved in case Crime No.  266 of 2005 under section 3(1) U.P. Gangster  and Anti Social Activities (Prevention) Act, Police station Pawai, district  Azamgarh, be enlarged on bail on furnishing personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
