Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A.
The case Crime No. 16 of 2006, under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and ¾ of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana district Meerut has been registered against the applicants.
The only prayer in this petition is that the court below be directed to decide bail application of the applicants expeditiously.
Accordingly, this petition is finally disposed of with the diretion that if the applicants surrender before the court concenred within one weeks from today and apply for bail, their bail application shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law.
In the meantime, no coersive method shall be adopted against the applicants. It is clarified that if the applicants fail to appear before the court concerned within said period of one week, this stay order will not be applicable to them.
