Gauhar Ayyub Siddiqui v. Union Of India And Others - WRIT - C No. 12188 of 2006 RD-AH 9300 (10 May 2006)
WP No. 12188 of 2006
Hon'be Yatindra Singh, J
Hon'ble RK Rastogi, J
1. The Indian Oil Corporation (the Corporation) had advertised for grant of retail dealership. In the interview Sri Pradeep Kumar Jaiswal-respondent no. 3 was placed at serial no. 1. The petitioner had filed writ petition against this panel which was dismissed on 24.5.2005 granting liberty to the petitioner to file a representation. The petitioner filed the representation which was dismissed on 9.1.2006, hence the present writ petition.
2. We have heard counsel for the petitioner. The counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent no. 3 has got another dealership and as such he was not entitled to apply. The petitioner was granted liberty to file representation. There was vague allegation regarding the dealership of respondent no.3 to the following effect:
" Mr. Jaiswal or his family member have already a LPG Gas plant."
3. No reliance could be placed on such a vague assertion. In view of this, we see no justification to go into this question. The writ petition is dismissed.
