This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that petitioner has applied for grant of State Freedom Fighter's Pension and he completed all the requirements for grant of the same. However, his case has not been decided by the respondents.
Shri C.K. Rai, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents has assured the Court that petitioner's case shall be considered in accordance with law expeditiously, and for that purpose petitioner may submit a copy of the writ petition along with its annexures before the respondent no. 1, which shall be treated as a representation, along with the certified copy of the order, and if he complies with, it will be decided.
In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, we dispose of the writ petition requesting the respondent no. 1 to consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within eight weeks from the date of filing a certified copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition.
