This writ petition has been filed raising the grievance that the petitioner was granted a licence of vending in stamp. The period of the licence has expired and the petitioner filed an application for renewal of the said licence within the stipulated period under the Statute, which has not yet been decided.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, we dispose of this writ petition  requesting the learned District Collector, Sant Kabir Nagar, respondent no.2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner for renewal of his licence of vending in stamp most expeditiously, strictly in accordance with law.
