This is an application for bail moved on behalf of the applicant Ghanshyam Singh arraigned in case Crime No. 23 of 2006 under sections 386, 323, 506, I.P.C., and section 10/14 of D.A.A. Act, Police station Pahari, district Chitrakoot.

Heard Sri A.K. Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA and have perused the record.

The applicant and three co-accused are said to have threatened the complainant in case the demand of Rupees one lac was not satisfied. The applicant along with co-accused was arrested in police encounter case.

The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that co-accused Chunna Kori alias Chunkauna has been enlarged on bail by an order dated 11.5.2006 passed by this Court in Criminal Misc. Bail Application No. 8823 of 2006 and the case of the applicant stand at par with him.

The learned AGA conceded that that the case of the applicant is similar to that of accused Chunna Kori alias Chunkauna.

Taking into consideration the submissions advanced on behalf of both the parties, I find it to be a fit case for grant of bail.

Let the applicant Ghanshyam Singh arraigned in case Crime No. 23 of 2006 under sections 386, 323, 506, I.P.C., and section 10/14 of D.A.A. Act, Police station Pahari, district Chitrakoot., be enlarged on bail on furnishing personal bond with two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
