The petitioner's case in the writ petition is that he retired on the post of Conductor on 31.1.2007, He further submits that by the order dated 9.4.2007 punishment has been passed for recovering an amount of Rs. 17,768.40. The submission is that the petitioner is entitled for entire retiral benefits and it is open for the respondents to withheld the amount directed to be recovered . Considering the above submission the respondents are directed to finalise the retiral benefits of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order or to show cause.
