Heard counsel for the petitioner.
By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for quashing the suspension order dated 25.11.2003. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that subsequent tot he suspension an enquiry was conducted and the enquiry report has been submitted but neither final decision has been taken nor the petitioner's suspension has been revoked. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the enquiry report was submitted on 12.5.2006. The petitioner has also submitted an application on 23.11.2006 to the Director- respondent No. 2 praying for revocation of suspension but the same has not yet been decided.
In view of the facts of the present case ends of justice be served in disposing of the writ petition directing the respondent no. 2 to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner for revocation of suspension dated 25.11.2003 expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. The respondent no. 2 may also conclude the enquiry expeditiously.
With the above observation the writ petition is disposed of.
