|
Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.
The relief claimed in this petition is that the representation filed by the petitioner on 4th May, 2007 may be decided within a fixed period.
A perusal of the averments made in the writ petition indicates that the petitioner claims to have been appointed on the post of Daftari in Bapu Inter College, Pipari, Bhaisa, Post Office Bhaisa, District Chandauli on 20th November, 1991 but the said appointment has not been approved by the District Inspector of Schools and no salary has been paid to the petitioner.
This petition has been filed in the year 2007 almost after the expiry of 16 years. The relief claimed for by the petitioner that the representation may be decided cannot, therefore, be granted and the petition is liable to be dismissed on the ground of laches.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of laches.
