Hon. Dr. B.S. Chauhan, J.
Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.
This petition has been filed raising the grievance that a vacancy occurred for grant of licence of Fair Price Shop and even though the Gram Sabha passed a resolution in favour of the petitioner but respondent no.2 is not finalising the matter.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Anuj Kumar for the respondent no.4 and the learned Standing Counsel for the other respondents, we dispose of this Writ Petition requesting respondent no.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner and to examine as to whether the petitioner is eligible for grant of lincence and whether the Gram Sabha meeting was called in accordance with law and whether the resolution is also in accordance with law. If he is fully satisfied regarding the genuineness of the grievance of the petitioner, he may consider his application and pass an appropriate order expeditiously.
