Court No. 29
Special Appeal No. 789 of 2007
Syndicate Bank and others
Vs.
Ghanshyam
Hon'ble Dr. B.S. Chauhan, J.
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal, J.
We have heard Sri P.K. Singhal, learned counsel for the appellants and Sri Satish Chaturvedi, learned counsel appearing of the petitioner-respondent.
This special appeal is directed against the judgement dated 17.4.2007 passed by the Hon'ble Single Judge allowing the writ petition of the petitioner-respondent with the following direction:-
"Accordingly, for the facts and reasons stated in the judgment, of date passed in Writ Petition No. 34456 of 2001, Subhash Chandra Srivastava Vs. Syndicate Bank & others, this writ petition stands allowed. The orders dated 17.3.2001 and 5.7.2001 passed by the Deputy General Manager, Syndicate Bank, Zonal Office, Meerut, respondent no. 3 and the General Manager (Personnel), Syndicate Bank, Manipal, State of Karnataka, respondent no. 2 respectively are quashed. The petitioner shall be entitled to all consequential benefits."
Learned counsel for the parties agreed that this matter is similar to the Special Appeal No. 787 of 2007, Syndicate Bank and others Vs. Subhash Chandra Srivastava which has been disposed of by a detailed order of date. Consequently this appeal is also disposed of in terms of the order passed by this Court in Special Appeal No. 787 of 2007, Syndicate Bank and others Vs. Subhash Chandra Srivastava .
No order as to costs.
