Against the order dated 30th May, 2007 passed by the Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies by which an order was passed for punishment including the order for recovery of Rs.6,36,601, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Principal Secretary (Food and Civil Supplies), Lucknow.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said appeal has not been decided and nor any order has been passed on the application for grant of interim relief.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the said appeal shall be decided expeditiously and in case no order has been passed on the application for interim relief, an appropriate order shall be passed within a period of three weeks.
In view of the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the appeal filed by the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law and in case no order has been passed on the application for interim relief, the same shall be decided preferably within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner before the authority concerned.
