Heard Sri G.P. Dikshit learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State and perused the papers.
The applicant is Jeth of the victim, who is said to have been harassed by in-laws for the demand of dowry.
It is submitted that being the Jeth he was not going to be benefited by the alleged dowry since he is living separately from the victim and her husband for long time.
Let the applicant Deshraj @ Bantu S/o Naurangilal involved in Case Crime No. 8 of 2007, under section 498-A IPC and section ¾ Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Nagla Singhi, District Firozabad be released on bail on his executing a personal bond of Rs. 20000/- and furnishing two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the CJM concerned.
