Heard Sri Ghanshyam Joshi, learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State and also perused the record.
From the record, it transpires that the applicant was on bail, but he became absent and hence warrant of arrest was issued against him. Now he is in jail since 05.04.2007. For the ends of justice, one opportunity more may be granted to the applicant to remain on bail.
Let the applicant Shankat @ Billu S/o Rasool Khan involved in Case Crime No. 254 of 2001 (special case No. 278 of 2001) under Section 2/3 U.P. Gangsters Act, P.S. Medical, District Meerut be released on bail on his executing a personal bond of Rs. 25,000/- and furnishing two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
The applicant shall furnish an undertaking in the Court below that he will attend the Court on each and every date during trial.
