Heard counsel for the petitioner.

By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for quashing the order dated 2.2.2007 by which the District  Inspector of Schools has granted absorption of the petitioner in L.T. grade with effect from 19.2.1991.  Petitioner's case in the writ petition is that the petitioner was appointed in C.T. grade on 1.10.1983 and he was entitled to be granted L.T. grade from 1.10.1988.The impugned order refers the  Government order  dated 24.5.2004, copy of the said  Government order has been  shown by the learned counsel for the petitioner.  The said  Government order  clearly indicates  that those teachers who  on 19.2.1991 had completed five years or completes five years  thereafter shall be  absorbed in L.T. grade,  giving benefit of the said  Government order  the petitioner  has been absorbed in L.T. grade from 19.2.1991 which is the date declaring the C.T. grade as dying cadre.   the order has been passed in accordance with the said  Government order   dated 24..5.2004by which the date 19.2.1991 has been fixed as the date for absorption. There is no error in the order of the District  Inspector of Schools  absorbing the petitioner in L.T. grade from 19.2.1991.  There is no error in the order warranting interference  under Article 226 of the Constitution.

The writ petition lacks merit and is dismissed.
