Heard counsel for the petitioner; learned standing counsel and Sri Anuj Kumar Advocate and Sri B. P. Singh Advocate for respondents.
Contention of petitioner is that her name has been finalised on 3.5.2006 by Gram Shiksha Samiti but no further action is being taken and matter is being unnecessarily delayed.
Such grievance of the petitioner can be very well examined by the District Magistrate, Basti, respondent no. 2 who happens to be the Chairman of District Selection Committee and also who is adjudicating authority to adjudicate the said dispute pursuant to the Government order dated 2.5.2006/3.5.2006.
In these circumstances and in this background liberty is given to the petitioner to make fresh representation within three weeks from today along with the certified copy of this order before District Magistrate, Basti respondent no. 2 who shall take appropriate decision on the same, in accordance with law, preferably within eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. Whatever decision so taken, same be communicated to the petitioner.
With the above direction present writ petition is disposed of.
