Heard counsel for the petitioners. Sri P. D. Tripathi appears for the respondents.

By this writ petition the petitioners have prayed for mandamus directing the respondents to pay salary to the petitioners of the respective posts. Petitioners claimed to be appointed as Assistant Teachers in Saryu Prasad Kanya Primary School. Petitioners' case in the writ petition is that the petitioners' School was granted permanent recognition on 22.3.2006 and thereafter selection was made and the petitioners have been appointed on 7.8.2006. In the writ petition no papers have been brought on record showing the approval of the appointment of the petitioners by the Basic Shiksha Adhikari. There being no approval of appointment the relief prayed in the writ petition cannot be granted.

The writ petition is dismissed.
