This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to pay the insurance money under the Kisan Credit Scheme which has been sponsored by the State Government.
The averments made in the Writ Petition indicate that the husband of the petitioner died on account of the snake bite. The petitioner preferred the claim under the insurance policy and has also deposited the documents demanded by the State Bank of India, Bharthana, Etawah but till date the amount has not been paid to the petitioner.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction that the State Bank of India may process the case of the petitioner under the Kisan Credit Scheme in accordance with law and in the event the claim of the petitioner is found to be genuine then the same may be forwarded to the State Government for passing appropriate orders.
