Harikesh v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - A No. 33326 of 2007 RD-AH 12689 (24 July 2007)
Hon'ble Ashok Bhushan, J.
Heard counsel for the petitioner.
The only prayer pressed in this writ petition is that the petitioner having already complained against the selection of the respondent no. 6 as Shiksha Mitra, the District Magistrate be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner. Petitioner's case is that he had highest merit amongst all the applicants but the petitioner was not selected. The petitioner has submitted complaint to the Basic Shiksha Adhikari, copy of which has been filed as Annexure-3 to the writ petition. It is open for the petitioner to submit a detailed representation to the District Magistrate in view of the Government order dated 2.5.2006 to challenge the selection of the respondent no. 6. In case such representation is made to the District Magistrate the same may be considered and disposed of after giving opportunity to the respondent no. 6. The representation of the petitioner shall be disposed of expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order .
With the above observations the writ petition is disposed of.
