Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Brief facts of the case are that respondent no.4 moved an application before respondent no.1, Rent Control and Eviction Officer/Additional District Magistrate (L.R.), Kanpur Nagar for allotment of house no. 3/133, Vishnupuri, Kanpur Nagar on which report of the Inspector was called for under the Act. After going through the report of the Inspector  respondent no.1 vide order dated 24.6.99 allotted the aforesaid house in favour of respondent no.4.

         Aggrieved by the aforesaid order dated 24.6.1999 the petitioners filed Rent Revision No. 70/70 of 2001 before the Revisional Court, which is still pending.

The only prayer of the counsel for the petitioner is that a direction may be issued to the Revisional Court to decide the aforesaid revision within a time bound frame fixed by this Court.

The Standing counsel has no objection to this prayer.

Without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the Revisional Court to decide the aforesaid revision in accordance with law within a period of 2 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.  No order as to costs.
