Petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider and decide the application made by the petitioner dated 20.12.1995 whereby he has prayed for temporary Thiya Bandi being permited for measurement of his plot.  It is admitted that original suit no. 30 of 2001  has already been filed  for protecting his possession against the private respondents.

In the opinion of the Court, the proper remedy available to the petitioner is to seek such relief in his pending suit as he may be advised.

Writ petition is dismissed.
