1. Heard Mr. S. Chopra in support of this appeal.

2. This appeal is against the Income Tax Tribunal's order concerning the respondent for the assessment year 1998-99.

3. There is no dispute that the tax liability would be less than Rs. 2 lacs. In such matters, there is already circulars issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes that appeals should not be preferred/prosecuted.

4. This being the position, no reason to interfere. The appeal is dismissed.
